Masseria Ciacero

The renovation of Masseria Ciacero, located in the countryside of Modica, aims to bring to light the traditional flavours of a rural building. The existing structure of the building can be traced back to two different epochs. The stables date back to the 17th century, while the home was added in the early 1800’s to complete the courtyard’s perimeter. The scope of the project is to preserve the historical value and the authenticity of the building. Thanks to the housing conversion of the stables, a functional redistribution of the spaces allows to get a very flexible use of the interiors. Furthermore, a careful choice of contemporary and sophisticated furnishings make the masseria a unique “buen retiro” with an unmistakably typical charm of southern italian places.
